Gentle Yoga

The word yoga comes from the Sanskrit language and means “union”. The practice originated in India more than five thousand years ago to help us achieve our highest potential and to experience enduring health and happiness. Today, with yoga we can extend our healthy, productive years far beyond the accepted norm and, at the same time, improve the quality of our lives.

In the true nature of yoga there is an equal emphasis placed on the merging of body, mind, and spirit. This union is achieved through the proper use of movement, breath, posture, relaxation and meditation skills that anyone can learn to develop.

Brad Surette graduated from the Atlantic Yoga Teacher Training Institute in 2008 and is certified as a Kripalu Yoga Instructor. His yoga teacher training involved over two hundred hours of dedicated study through an intensive ten month program led by Jody Myers and Silver Frith. Brad is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance.

These classes are designed specifically for beginners, seniors, those with limited mobility, and anyone wanting to increase flexibility or improve quality of life.

At the end of each yoga class you will experience a natural realignment of your body which leads to a natural realignment of your perception of life and of who you are. To experience this feeling of peace the only requirements are proper instruction and practice.

Yoga is about transformation. Are you ready for the transformation?

The fee is $15 per class or a package of 4 classes for $50 (both are HST taxable). Due to small class sizes, please pre-register to ensure your space is reserved.
